About J&D Lock

Principles

We're a family company! One day Denny Brown decided to start a 'lil lock business. So, he setup a humble but productive shop in the garage. Keeping with the family tradition, he named the new venture J&D Lock Company, Inc., after his only son, Joshua, and himself. At the time, Denny only knew a little about this here lock industry, but kept at it, learnin' as much as he could and gained a customer here and there.

That was 17 years ago.

J&D is still owned and operated by the Brown's. Margo, his wife of over 30 years, retired from nursing to handle the expanding operational and office needs. Then, their only child, Joshua, came on board to round out this proud old lock company.

Sure, we've grown a bit since the garage days, but it's no big deal. You see, our job is pretty simple: your satisfaction.

That's right. J&D was founded on this fundamental principle, and we aim to keep it that way until that fateful cow, Brassy, with a stainless steel lock on her portly neck and a polished brass hooves come on home to roost.

• Reliable All orders are shipped out on the same day. We use UPS. Shippin' is free, too.
• Inventory We have all our hardware manufactured in Asia. When you buy from us, you're removin' that pesky middleman, and reap the savings. It's also rare for us to be outta stuff. And, if we don't got it, rest assured, we'll get it for ya or its on the way from China.
• Price We've kept our prices darn near the same for over 15 years. Heck, some of 'em even went down. You'll be happy to find some of the best pricing this industry has ever seen. 'Been a tradition for us.
• Service Nearly all of our first customers are still with us. We're friendly, down to earth folks. Watcha see is watcha get. And, when you call us, you're actually gonna get us. If we can do anything to for ya, consider it done. You see, there's no fancy voice mail "press 1 if you have a pulse" gizmo's, no cold corporate attitudes, or anything else that slows business down. J&D is based on simplicity. Why make it hard to do business? Know what I mean? Well, I take that back. We do have a trusty old answerin' machine, but that's about it in the way of fanciness. • Keying & Misc If Master Keying, drop-shipping, bath accessories, residential hardware, or just about anything else, just ask us! Denny will get you fixed right up.

There's a lot more to our shop, but no use borin' you with all the details. We're confident you'll be happy with us, and we'd be delighted to serve you.

On any given day, you'll still find Denny talking to our customers when he's not packing orders out in the garage. Margo and Josh are talkin' care of the paperwork, and making sure things are runnin' smoothly. Nope, we don't need a fancy building or anything of the kind to accommodate any business level, from small orders to the whole pallet.
